Adri Marais

Adri Marais Adri Marais is a co-founder of TSiBA. In her role as Chief Executive Officer, she is responsible for providing strategic direction to lead TSiBA’s reach and impact in achieving its vision to ignite opportunity and social change. Pearl Pugin

Pearl Pugin Pearl Pugin is the Dean. She is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and delivery of all aspects of TSiBA’s academic programmes. She holds an Honours degree in Labour Law Studies and a Masters in Management. Pearl is currently pursuing a PhD in Strategic Human Resource Management.

Reidwaan Jawoodeen

Reidwaan Jawoodeen Reidwaan Jawoodeen is the Management Anchor. He is responsible for General Management, Business Management, Strategic Management and Applied Strategic Management. Reidwaan holds a BA Hons, a graduate in Military Management and in Peace Research.

John Durr

John Durr John Durr (MBA, Henley, UK), is the Anchor for the Entrepreneurship Major. He holds an Executive MBA as well as many diplomas & certificates in the fields of General Management & Project Management. John has worked in executive roles in several blue-chip companies & has started several companies. He is a member of the Institute of Business Advisors and advisor to several start support organisations & entrepreneurs.

Ilana Barling

Ilana Barling Ilana is the Librarian. In her role she manages, organises and disseminates information to this academic community and teaches information retrieval skills to the students and staff. She holds a BA in Sociology and African History and a Higher Diploma in Librarianship and Information Science.

Sandi Sher

Sandi Sher Sandi Sher is the Marketing Manager, responsible for raising awareness for TSiBA through focused marketing & PR efforts. Sandi holds a B.A degree in English & History of Art, Post-grad. in Copywriting as well as courses in Digital Marketing. Follow on Twitter @atsandisher

Lindelwa Hanjana

Lindelwa Hanjana Lindelwa Hanjana is the Campus Manager. She is responsible for managing the cleaning, security, maintenance and health and safety of the TSiBA Cape Town campus. Lindelwa holds a qualification in AIM (Association in Management). Follow on Twitter @Lindelwa22

Peter Kraan

Peter Kraan Peter has been with TSiBA forever, in the beginning as a volunteer lecturer. In 2007 he started up our very first Ignition Centre and from 2012 until 2015 he was our Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board. He is currently responsible for International Partnerships.

Sonja Hagins

Sonja Hagins Sonja is the Head of Support, she is responsible for the counselling and mentorship of TSiBA’s Higher Certificate in Business Administration (HCBA) and Bachelor in Business Administration 1 (BBA1) students. She hold a Diploma in Counselling.

Cindy Krawe

Cindy Krawe Cindy manages the Career Centre and her main focus is to ensure that our students are ready and well prepared for the world of work. She also places TSiBA students on internships in South Africa and abroad. Amongst other things, she also holds the TSiBA Alumni relationship portfolio. Cindy holds a BBA degree from TSiBA and is currently pursuing her Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education.

Neal Sassman

Neal Sassman Neal is an IT Support Engineer who is certified in A+, N+, MCSE NT4.0 (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) and oversees all the IT related queries/problems. He has extensive desktop support experience due to the varied client base he supported before joining TSiBA and is planning on studying MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) and MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert).

Graham Moore

Graham Moore As Head of Fundraising Graham manages a Sustainability team which cultivates mutually beneficial partnerships & funding relationships, both with organisations which seek B-BBEE empowerment credentials & with individuals interested in supporting the TSiBA mission. Graham holds an Hons: Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Sociology & postgraduate diplomas in Financial & Business Management.

Alistair Sim

Alistair Sim Alistair Sim is TSiBA's Information Systems Manager responsible for our Learning Management and Management Information Systems. Alistair obtained a B.Com in Informatics at UP.

Tinama Mpondo

Tinama Mpondo Tinama is the Sustainability Administrator in our Income Generation division and is responsible for supporting income generation projects, particularly for TSiBA TES and Career Centre. Tinama holds a BA (Politics) degree.

Chloe Maurtin

Chloe Maurtin Chloe is the Recruitment Manager. With an education background and 20 years’ experience as an educator, she decided to hang up the chalk and embarked on a different career path – the recruitment industry. She worked in the recruitment industry for 12 years until the company for which she worked was forced to shut its doors as a result of the financial downturn.

Nosipho Tolbart

Nosipho Tolbart Nosipho Tolbart is the receptionist. Her role is to manage the switchboard and to welcome guests. She is currently studying towards a National Diploma in Entrepreneurship.

Khanyisa Mabunda

Khanyisa Mabunda Khanyisa is the Academic Officer and she is responsible for ensuring quality academic practices and data integrity related to student results and information. She holds a BSc Chemistry, Honours in Materials Science and Masters in Materials Engineering from UCT.

Noma Moshani

Noma Moshani Noma started working at TSiBA in 2013 as Business communication anchor. In 2016 she broadened her horizon by joining the Leadership and Self-development department (LSD), currently Noma is the co-Anchor . Her role entails fine-tuning the curriculum, liaising with lecturers LSD lecturers and tutors.

Allison Baxter

Allison Baxter Allison Baxter is Leadership & Self-Development Anchor alongside Noma Moshani. Allison has a Professional Instructor’s Diploma & Masters of Education from Simon Fraser University & worked internationally as a facilitator and trainer for over 16 years in the corporate & NGO sectors focusing on personal development, leadership, group dynamics & communication programmes.

Michelle Samuals

Michelle Samuals Michelle Samuels is the Bookkeeper in the Finance Department. Michelle has a Higher Certificate in Accountancy and is persuing a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences in Financial Accounting Degree. She has extensive experience in bookkeeping roles which include the primary and tertiary education sectors.

Anneke Van Damme

Anneke Van Damme Anneke is the Faculty Manager, she has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (Retirement Fund Administration) and a B. Comm. Honours in Information Systems. She manages the academic administration department including student records, lecturer and tutor co-ordination and quality assurance of student related data.

Tyson Wadeley

Tyson Wadeley Tyson Wadeley is the Mathematics Lecturer, lecturing and tutoring Mathematics to Higher Certificate in Business Administration and Bachelor in Business Administration students. He is also responsible for the development of the relevant courses. Tyson holds a BSc in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from UCT

Lee-Ann Hector

Lee-Ann Hector Lee-Ann Hector is the Head of Finance, responsible for the financial processes and administration thereby ensuring legal and statutory compliance of the TSiBA group of companies. Lee-Ann’s financial experience has been gained with years of service in the retail industry.

Kwanele Magwaca

Kwanele Magwaca Kwanele is the Marketing Coordinator, she is responsible for all Marketing activities related to TSiBA students from recruitment through to graduation. She holds a N Dip and BTech in Public Relations Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Kwanele has experience in internal and external communication, event management, relationships and data management.

Abduragmaan Martin

Abduragmaan Martin Abduragmaan is the Campus Assistance, he is responsible for the daily campus operations.

Shameez Naidoo

Shameez Naidoo Shameez Naidoo is the Lecturer and Tutor Co-ordinator, and is responsible for identifying and recruiting individuals to lecture and tutor. Building and maintaining relationships with TSiBA’s partners and corporates. Shameez holds a Bachelor of Education degree from UKZN, and a BEd Honours from WITS University.

Julie McFarlane

Julie McFarlane Julie McFarlane is the Student Counsellor. She is responsible for monitoring the overall psychological health of the students and maintaining student wellness, through counselling and academic support initiatives. Julie is a HPCSA Registered Counsellor and holds a Masters in Psychology (cum laude) from Stellenbosch University. She has a broad background in community skills development, business, IT, research and academia.

Karien Cloete

Karien Cloete Karien is the Head of Income Generation, and is responsible for TSiBA's Income Generation Team: Managing relationships with donors, and the Income Generation team members. Karien holds an Advanced Diploma (Honours level) in Labour Law, and has a wealth of experience: Telecoms, Media, NGO, Manufacturing, Government and Banking industries.

Gerhard Mulder

Gerhard Mulder Gerhard is TSiBA's Relationship Manager, and is responsible for sourcing and development of financial partnerships and relationships across the Socio-Economic Development, Skills Development, and Enterprise and Supplier Development. Gerhard holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Philosophy in Journalism.

Yolanda van Oordt

Yolanda van Oordt Yolanda is TSiBA’s Business Communication Anchor, and is responsible for curriculum design and delivery, as well as, liaising with lecturers and tutors. Yolanda holds a BCom Honours and is an Accredited Assessor with MerSETA.

Mustoffa Khan

Mustoffa Khan Mustoffa is TSiBA’s Business Studies Anchor, and is responsible for curriculum design and delivery, as well as, liaising with lecturers and tutors. Mustoffa holds an Honours degree in Economics and has 14 years of lecturing experience.

Atiyyah Karlie

Atiyyah Karlie Atiyyah is TSiBA’s Sustainability Administrator, and is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sustainability Office, in the building and management of relationships, with potential and current sponsors and donors. Atiyyah holds a Bachelors Degree in Management of Entrepreneurship.

Edgar Moleveld

Edgar Moleveld Edgar is TSiBA’s Project Delivery Manager, and is responsible for looking after the Ignition Center, and managing the execution of various TSiBA projects. Edgar holds an MBA in Business Psychology, and has a wealth of experience, from Business Development and Project Management, to Lecturing.

Colleen Barnard

Colleen Barnard Colleen is the Executive Secretary to the CEO and Dean. With her more than 25 years' administrative and executive assistance experience, Colleen is well equipped to serve the administrative needs of the executive portfolio.

Orisha Ferndale

Orisha Ferndale Orisha is the Marketing Coordinator: Corporate. She holds a BA in Media, Communication and Culture. Orisha is responsible for all internal and external communication, events and social media management.

Nwabisa Mooi

Nwabisa Mooi Nwabisa is the Library Assistant at the Cape Town Campus. She is responsible for assisting the Librarian in maintaining an environment that is conducive for learning and study purposes. Nwabisa holds a BA Social Science degree and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Science.

Lawrence Muzame

Lawrence Muzame Lawrence is the Executive Operations Manager at TSiBA. He holds a BA (Law) degree, amongst various other certificates, and has completed the Executive Development Programme with USB. Lawrence will be responsible for the full spectrum of operations including Finance, IT, Campus Management and HR, and will oversee the functioning of the Eden campus as well.
