Education is universally recognised as the most sustainable way of promoting a more equal society as it avails individuals with broader opportunities and the skills to participate as active economic citizens. In other words, it is genuine empowerment in action.

Towards the goal of building a more equal South Africa, and one in which opportunities abound in the legacy of Nelson Mandela, TSiBA relies on mutually beneficial partnerships with corporate organisations and foundations who sponsor the operations and management of the institution, and who do so in a way in which their Social Investment or Socio-Economic Development (as refeered to in the BBBEE codes) contributions are strategically channelled. Towards this objective our strategic partner engagement model is geared towards the long term sustainability of the institution, and can be structured in any of the following ways:

• ≥ R1 000 000 per annum for 5 years – Funding channelled to supporting and building the on-going requirements of TSiBA’s operations, management and governance capability.

• ≥ R2 500 000 per annum for 2 years – Funding channelled to supporting rural tertiary education, and specifically TSiBA Education’s rural campus, TSiBA Eden.

• ≥ R5 000 000 capital investment – Funding channelled to the TSiBA Trust and the long-term sustainability of the institution.

• Equity distribution through the TSiBA Education Trust – Structured as an effective shared ownership option with organisations sourcing a partner with tangible empowerment credentials and beneficiaries.

Through all of the Strategic Partner options available TSiBA offers a unique opportunity to participate in a shared mission to build social capital and social, economic and educational advancement of vulnerable South Africans. Given the long-term nature of a strategic relationship of this nature, TSiBA offers a seat on the main Board of Directors, access to TSiBA Graduates, and specified branding rights to all of our Strategic Partners.

Through the support offered by our Strategic Partners, TSiBA aims to become the premier product of its kind in higher education and the first choice for students from disadvantaged backgrounds in the geographical areas we support.  We sincerely welcome the opportunity to continue to work together by means of a long-term and sustainable partnership in the real spirit of “Igniting Opportunity”.
