Volunteer Appreciation

28 Sep 2017

TSiBA has a thriving volunteer community which is a great way to get involved and Pay it Forward - just like our students.

Peter Hurst is one of our international mentors from Spain who recently began mentoring 6 of students. Currently, in Cape Town on a business trip, he found time to meet with them. TSiBA BBA student, Courage Chiringa, shared some words on the impact Peter has made in such a short time.

“Meeting with Peter Hurst at the Fire and Ice Hotel was an amazing and inspiring moment. Looking back at the night it was an inspirational one through hearing all the success stories, getting to know more about Peter and how he has ‘made it’ in life.

“We could all literally spend days reminiscing about how amazing the night was, but we just want to highlight and acknowledge the wisdom he shared with us. Like they say - food makes people smile and cheer up - this event was no exception as the room was filled with joy with everyone enjoying their mouth-watering meals. This session was another great platform which allowed us, as students, to get to know each other better.

“In a nutshell, we are all grateful for Peter who is taking his personal time to help us become better leaders of today - and tomorrow - in our prospective fields. We also acknowledge TSiBA Education for giving us this opportunity to grow as individuals learning more through mentorship. We all deeply appreciate and give our heartwarming thank you to Peter for being a pillar of support from which we derive hope for the future.”

The Tertiary School in Business Administration (TSiBA) was founded in 2004 with a vision to “Ignite Opportunity”.  Our mission is to be an innovative learning community that graduates entrepreneurial leaders who ignite opportunity and social change.
