Tristan Emery

A young coloured male who grew up in the community of Steenberg. Raised by a single mother who always motivated him to become better than his surroundings and always encouraged him to pursue tertiary education. In April of 2016, he lost his mother to cancer, and ever since he told himself that he would pursue a degree at a tertiary institution and empower young people in his community as a method of honoring his mother’s memory.
