Karien is the Chief Executive Officer of TSIBA Ignition Academy. Karien holds an Advanced Diploma in Labour Law, and has a wealth of experience in the Telecoms, Media, NGO and Recruitment sector.
David Polovin | Non-Executive Member
David is a practising attorney with a wealth of commercial legal experience. He has been a staunch supporter of TSIBA from inception.
Leigh Meinert | CEO TSIBA Business School
Leigh Meinert is one of the TSIBA co-founders and TSIBA MD (2006-2012, and 2018- ). She conceptualised TSIBA’s Leadership Curricula. Leigh holds a BA in Value and Policy Studies from Stellenbosch University and has a Masters in Higher Education Studies (University of Cape Town).

Orisha holds the sales and account management portfolio in the Academy Orisha obtained a Bachelor of Art in Media & Communication (Nelson Mandela University) and a Certificate in Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility from CHE (Netherlands).

Shameez Naidoo | Lead Catalyst
Shameez is responsible for implementing and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of projects and providing operational support to the team. Shameez holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a BEd Honours from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Certificate in Business Analysis from Faculty Training Institute.
