Course Overview
In an increasingly agile business environment, project management has emerged as a key managerial competency. This course aims to introduce participants to the nature, principles, tools and techniques of project management. It focuses on the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to achieve core goals of project management, namely, a balanced optimisation of project scope, cost, time and quality outcomes. As a foundational course, it draws from different methodologies, notably PMBoK standards and Prince2. Research shows a strong positive correlation between organisational project management capability and organisational performance. This course aims to facilitate access to entry-level project management roles.
