TSiBA offers a limited number of scholarships to achievers and aspiring business leaders who would otherwise not have the financial means to study.

Are you ambitious, have a passion for a career in business and would like to apply for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree? Applications for the 2019 academic year open on Friday the 28th September 2018.. Admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration works on a points system, based on your Grade 12 academic performance. Students who wish to apply for BBA are required to meet our minimum requirements as listed below:

● You must be in possession of a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with a Bachelor’s Pass
● A minimum of 27 points is required to be eligible for admission to the TSiBA undergraduate selection process
● A maximum of six subjects are scored; if you have taken seven subjects, the six highest and most relevant subjects are scored
● The TSiBA designated subject list includes the following four compulsory subjects: Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy, two official Languages (English as either Home Language or First Additional Language) and Life Orientation
● Two additional subjects are chosen from the designated subject list. This list of subjects is derived from an investigation into the common subjects across various public higher education institutions in South Africa, and which are required for business/commerce degrees.

TSiBA has two different methods of applying:
1. Online web-based application form - Free of charge
2. Paper based application form - R100 (Proof of payment to be attached to the form on submission)

To apply to TSiBA Education follow these simple steps:

Step 1. COMPLETE AN APPLICATION FORM
Submit a completed application form ensuring every section is completed with all compulsory supporting documents attached, or your application may not be considered. For non-online applications you can deliver by hand at our Pinelands Campus or email: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (no faxes or posts accepted).

Step 2. SUBMIT YOUR NATIONAL BENCHMARK TEST MARKS (NBT)
If your application meets our criteria you will be requested to book and write the National Benchmark Test, which is designed to assess your Numeracy and Literacy skills. If you have already written the NBT, you must attach a copy of your results to your application form before submitting it. If you have not written an NBT, follow the steps below to book and register.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE NBT?
Please use Internet Explorer or Firefox to navigate on the NBT website.
• Access the NBT website http://www.nbt.ac.za
• Click on “Book a Test” and then follow prompts
• Where it says select institution you are applying to, select any institution on the list (TSiBA is not yet listed on the Institutions list).
• A letter confirming your registration and containing an EasyPay barcode will be available for you to download and print after you click SUBMIT.
• You must take your registration letter to an EasyPay Paypoint to pay for the testing fees.
• You may also pay on the EasyPay website: http://www.easypay.co.za.
• It is not necessary to bring these to the test site, but you should print out and keep copies, as results will only be issued for paid tests.
• Registration is date- and venue-specific. If you miss your scheduled test, you must re-register and pay again. You will be able to access your results only if you have paid for any tests for which you were registered.

Step 3. TSiBA INTERVIEW
To progress in the selection process you may be invited for an interview to assess your entrepreneurial and leadership achievements, attitude and compatibility with the TSiBA culture. This also provides an excellent opportunity for you to also meet TSiBA staff, ask questions and assess TSiBA for yourself.

Step 4. PROVISIONAL ACCEPTANCE & SUBMISSION OF FINAL MATRIC RESULTS
If you are in Grade 12 at the time of application, TSiBA may offer you a notice of provisional acceptance about your acceptance based on good academic results, interview, NBT and other evaluations.

Please note: A final offer can only be made once TSiBA has received a certified copy of your final Grade 12 results. Applicants who have already completed matric must provide a certified copy for final assessment.

Step 5. ORIENTATION DAY
Successful candidates will be invited to attend a 1-day Orientation at our campus in Pinelands at a date to be confirmed.

Students from other tertiary institutions

If you were previously registered at another higher learning or tertiary institution, you must submit all your original full academic records issued by each institution at which you were registered. This academic record must indicate all modules passed and failed, as well as modules for which you are currently registered.

If you have any questions about any of the above mentioned requirements, or would like more information please contact: +27 (0) 21 532 2750 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
